Laser opening

Easy Opening by Laser can be used on laminates for stand up pouches, stickpacks and sachets and it is a unique marketing tool for a range of products, including fruit juices, personal care products, confectionery and pharmaceuticals. After printing and lamination, the laser opening is engraved in the material during the slitting process. Because the laser opening is integrated in the packaging material, no extra investments in machinery is needed.
LPF's CO2-lasersystem uses computer technology and light radiation through a system of mirrors, to engrave your opening in the laminate. We remove the layer that gives the strength to the material, the barrier properties of the packaging remain however intact. The engraving is in perfect register to the printing, offering excellent presentation and functionality. Corners, half circles, perforations... any shape or design is possible with Easy Opening by Laser! We supply complete laser engraved reels that can be used on your machinery like any other reel of packaging material.
